Crossroads Veterinary Clinic provides a fully stocked pharmacy for all pet needs - both prescription and over-the-counter.  The Doctors have carefully reviewed all products and selected the best and most needed items.  Our pharmacy contains over 500 items based on effectiveness, cost, and safety.  This wide array of choices allows your pets doctor to select the most appropriate therapy needed.

ON-LINE PHARMACIES

There are many choices on where to obtain prescription items for your pet.  Many more appear every month.  We are happy to provide a written script for any product you may need if you pet is a current patient (seen within the last 1 year), current on all appropriate testing needed and with Doctor approval.  However, we encourage you to read all fine print for the company you are dealing with.  One of the most popular companies has been fined multiple times by the FDA for deceptive selling practices (Google a company's name to learn more).  Additionally, we get complaints regularly that ..."the shipping was free, but they added a handling charge..." which was not mentioned in the television advertising.

WHAT TO KNOW:

Prescriptions filled outside of a veterinary office are voided of the manufacturer's guarantee

Product may be expired

Product maybe counterfeit

Product may likely be unreliable to to improper storage and transportation conditions

Check the label closely.  Kilograms DO NOT equal pounds.  Many of these products are imported from other countries

When you actually compare costs, most verterinary clinic prices(including ours) are cheaper in the long run as there is no shipping charges and we will sell the products in single doses.  Most people see the advertised cost and do not realize there will be shipping AND handling charges despite what the vendor may say.  We get this complaint often and needless to say, we cannot rectify problems with other companies. We often mail prescriptions to our clients and will always be happy to accomodate this request at actual shipping costs (no handling fees).
